Part 3 // Hong Kong

W Hotel // Afternoon Tea at Woobar

The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong // Afternoon Tea with a view

Unfortunately, Josh was unable to go to Shanghai (long story short: due to his passport expiring in less than six months and limited time, he was unable to apply for a Chinese visa) so we weren't able to travel to Shanghai with the rest of his family.

Anywho, the first night we stayed in Mongkok, literally 5 minutes walk from the Ladies Market. On the first day of our arrival in Hong Kong, Josh and I started off at W Hotel to try their Afternoon Tea before taking the MTR to Central where we spent the rest of our afternoon around the IFC Mall area. For dinner, we journeyed to Tim Ho Wan where we experienced our first Michelin Star Restaurant! It was honestly the best yum cha/dim sim we've ever eaten. Later on in the trip, we realised there was also one at the IFC Mall we could have just gone to ha ha.

We spent the next day at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel located in Kowloon for Afternoon Tea. Originally, it was just Josh and I and since we booked beforehand we got allocated the perfect seats right at the window. Looking out onto Hong Kong was absolutely lovely and soon enough, the rest of Josh's family came straight from the airport to accompany us at Afternoon Tea!

Our Hong Kong trip mainly consisted of food, food and more food. Josh and I spent some time cafe searching and found a pretty cool cafe located within a long corridor in Causeway Bay called Cafe Corridor!

I won't go into too much detail about Hong Kong since my photos below will pretty much sum it all up! After four days in Hong Kong, we all flew back to Seoul to our home away from home.
