Thank you for Existing

Well well well, looks like I've decided to run away to Melbourne once again. I hadn't planned on going these holidays but my mum decided it was time for me to go visit her, so these past few days have mostly been spent with my mum and babysitting my little sister Lisa while my mum is at work.

Nightly strolls along the pier / 'twas a very windy evening to say the least

Oppa / Newly opened hip Korean restaurant located along Swanston Street we happened to walk by and decided to eat lunch at. Cheap and delicious 10/10 would recommend.

Breakfast on Lisa's 5th birthday at Top Paddock
Ricotta & Blueberry Hotcakes with berries, organic maple, seeds & double cream / Bircher Muesli  with lemon curd labna & green tea poached pear

I was lucky enough to meet Jody (@silkybow) while we both in Melbourne since we both live interstate. We started off at Operator 25 for brunch and called an Uber to take us all the way to South Yarra to try the Lolly Bag Cake (as featured on Masterchef) at LuxBite!

Operator 25 | Matcha and White Chocolate Hot Cakes with Black Sesame Mascarpone, Banana Chips, Toasted Hazelnut and Cherry Sauce | Sweet Corn Fritters with Fried Duck Egg, Heirloom Tomato Salad, Goats Curd and Basil ad Dill Herb Oil

Lolly Bag Cake (As seen on #Masterchef) - 7 layer cake starts with banana lolly Joconde, freckles crunch, mandarin jaffa ganache, musk mallo, more banana lolly Joconde, spearmint leaf buttercream and topped with a Redskins glaze | Meringue Monster - Green tea sponge, pistachio, watermelon yoghurt, sour strawberry mousse, meringue

& two coffees I consumed that day only decided to take effect at three in morning

And ofc the lovely Jody ^_^

Vegie Bar with mum and Lisa | Baked Gnocchi | Kalgan Coconut Green Curry w/roti & rice- Superb

Thank you Aesop for existing

Much love xx
